Lay Off - Pause the game for any reason. Game is resumed with "Lay On".
Exit Scene - Allows you to leave the scene immediately for any reason, no explanation is required.
Hand on Head - Signals that you are speaking or performing an action out-of-game.
Purple Wristband - Signifies a Person to be treated entirely out-of-game, such as a Game Master.
Players Must be 18 or Older, with no exceptions.
Real Weapons of Any Kind are prohibited.
You may not bring any weapon or object intended for use in combat that is not a boffer weapon (foam weapon).
You may only bring a boffer weapon if your character has said weapon as equipment
Alcohol may be available for purchase at some events.
Players are not allowed to bring their own Alcohol to any event.
No Drugs of any kind (aside from necessary medications) are allowed at any event.
Alcohol should be consumed responsibly and in moderation. If you get excessively intoxicated, you may be removed from that event and future events.
Always practice alcohol safety. Keep an eye on your drinks or leave them with a trusted friend. If you are driving, make sure to assign a designated driver.
Harassment, Discrimination, or Abuse (Verbal or Physical) of others for any reason is not tolerated to any degree. People found acting this way against others will be banned from all future events and the Discord.
If you or someone you know is being harrassed, abused, or discriminated against, seek a Game Master or Staff Member as soon as you can to report them. If it's serious enough, we will help you to file a police report.
No Photos or Recordings are to be taken without Consent
Event Organizers may take photos or recordings, but will give notice and everyone in frame will need to consent. Do keep in mind that photos and recordings taken by Event Organizers may be shared through the website or social media.
You may not wear perfumes, colognes, or other strongly-scented products.
Players must wear Deodorant and be Showered to attend Events.
Meta-Gaming (using out-of-game information to game an in-game advantage) is considered cheating
Accessibility Aids (Wheelchairs, Canes, Hearing Aids) are to be ignored as if they do not exist, unless it is made clear either by the player using them or by how they are decorated that it is meant to be an in-game object.
If you will not be attending further events or are unsure if you will attend further events, make sure to hand in any official in-game items given to you.
Currency, Weapons, Equipment, and other Items given by Game Masters/Event Organizers are considered "borrowed" for the duration of your play and do not physically belong to you, and should be either handed back in at the end of each game (Weapons, Equipment, etc.) or treated with care between games (Coins, etc.)
Counterfeiting in-game items such as Coins will result in you being removed from the game.
If a Game Master makes a decision, you have a right to a second opinion from another Game Master or Event Organizer if you believe their decision is unfair, but you may not argue with any final decisions made after that.
Players caught breaking the rules or exploiting loopholes within the rules will be warned or removed from the game, depending on if it's a repeated occurance.
Players must wear clothing that looks like it fits a Medieval Fantasy setting. Not Steampunk, Not Sci-Fi, Medieval Fantasy.
Players cannot wear T-Shirts, Jeans, or anything else immediately recognizeable as Modern Clothing.
Players should avoid Sneakers & Modern Shoes wherever possible
Full-Face coverings must be easily removable and must be removed if requested by Game Masters/Event Organizers
Costumes should have swimwear-level coverage at minimum.
Men must also make sure their chest/nipples are covered
"Fursuit" Costumes must actually represent your character, and you must make sure you do not overheat.
If you overheat while wearing a "Fursuit" Costume, you will no longer be allowed to wear it to future events. If you do not follow this instruction you will be banned from Anniven.
Costumes must adhere to the dress code of event locations. If a business is being rented out as the location, adhere to the dress code of the business.
You may NOT engage in Roleplay with the following themes:
Sex & Sexual Violence
Bigotry towards another Character
Suicide
Slavery
Genocide
Fascism/Nazi-ism
